YehliuGeopark

The rock landscape of YehliuGeopark is one of the most famous wonders in the world. The rare and stunning geological landscape is caused by wave attack, rock weathering, earth movement and crustal movement.

YehliuGeopark can be divided into three areas. It contains plenty of mushroom rock and ginger rock in the first and second areas, the most famous mushroom rock which named ‘the Queen’s Head’ can be seen here. The third area is the wave-cut platform which located on the other side of Yehliu. One side of the platform is closely adjacent to steep cliffs, and the other side is a scene of torrent waves. This area also includes several grotesque-shaped rocks that are incarnated by sea erosion and the major ecology reserve of YehliuGeopark.
